FLŌA Thermals reviewed:

After some extensive testing in some extreme Welsh winter conditions, I can say with confidence that these FLŌA thermals haul ass!

When you reach the summit and set up camp, it is absolutely critical to remove any damp layers and get a good thermal on under your down jacket. Once on, I didn’t feel the -15 wind chill at all.

In the past, I have found some thermal underlayers to be restrictive and ‘ride up’ when you bend over setting up camp. This can be potentially dangerous with spin drift and savage wind chills dropping your body temperature extremely fast.

The FLŌA stayed in place perfectly, and other then the welcome increase in body temperature, I didn’t even notice I was wearing them!

FLŌA

I’m 80kg and wear a size medium. Having wider shoulders and a smaller waist, I have found some thermal tops to be a good fit on the shoulders but loose on the waist band. The Muscle style fit on the FLŌA Thermals fit me perfectly.

During the hike down post-camp, I found they breathed really well as my body temperature increased. there is nothing worse then getting stuffy and sweaty during a hike, especially carrying overnight gear! The moisture-wicking capabilities of these thermals is incredible, a product that performs even better then it looks!

I would highly recommend the FLŌA thermals to anyone that requires some stellar warmth, and is an extremely active environment where flexibility and body temperature control is paramount.

All FLŌA garments are designed in Britain and made in Europe to highest ethical, sustainable and technical standards.
